Is INVOCELL painful?
Patients may experience some discomfort during implantation, but INVOCELL should not cause any pain while inside your body. The culture device itself is 1.5 inches wide and just over an inch tall. If you experience any discomfort, call your doctor.
How do INVOCELL’s success rates compare to more traditional methods?
According to INVOCELL, success rates typically are higher than that of intrauterine insemination (IUI), which tends to be very cost-effective, and are lower than that of IVF, which tends to be more expensive.
INVOCELL was studied in a clinical trial involving 450 cycles, 421 of which resulted in embryo transfers. Of these transfers, about 1 in 4 resulted in a birth.
