Katherine L. Palmerola, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Palmerola has clinical expertise in all aspects of the diagnosis and management of infertility. Her specific interests include preimplantation genetic testing, fertility preservation, third-party reproduction, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and hysteroscopy. She is committed to providing an evidenced-based – yet personalized – approach to fertility treatment and looks forward to helping patients achieve their dreams.
Dr. Palmerola is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI), Society for Reproductive Surgeons (SRS), American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She has authored or co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and abstracts on infertility assessment and management. Dr. Palmerola has also been an invited speaker to national and international medical conferences and serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics.
A native of Philadelphia, she graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, during which time she was inducted into the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Palmerola subsequently completed both her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at New York Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center in New York City.
In her spare time, Dr. Palmerola enjoys running, traveling, snowboarding, surfing, and spending time with her family.
